We really love to eat here at Front Row Signs. I mean REALLY love to eat! Here is one we did for a brand new franchise, 1st of its kind in Texas. The owner of Crave, located in Spring, decided he wanted to offer a little bit of Texas decor in his dining room. He had a design in mind and we helped bring it to fruition. His design is now emblazoned on the wall and helps to set the tone for a fun and Texas inspired decor focal point.
With any type of wall graphics, you should always do a wall adhesion test to ensure the vinyl will adhere correctly. Many factors can cause adhesion issues such as freshly painted or textured walls, or usage of low VOC paint. Its a good rule of thumb to allow a freshly painted wall a minimum of 2 weeks to outgas before applying printed graphics. We like to use either Avery MPI 1106 or 3M 35C for our vinyl choices as they offer the best adhesion and great for long term applications. Our Front Row Signs installers are trained to always perform an adhesion test for each wall graphic install. This test is performed by adhering a small strip of vinyl to the wall and a weight is attached to the bottom of the vinyl to add pressure. We return after 24 hours to note if the vinyl has continued to adhere to the wall or actually failed. It is imperative, we feel, to do this extra step as we don’t want any issues happening after the install for our client. Can you imagine the wall graphic peeling off during the dinner rush? Not going to happen on our watch!
