Custom jobs are a favorite. This was the case with our latest client, Drake Exterior Services. As a new business owner, our client purchased a custom fabricated trailer specific for his industry, pressure washing. We had to create signage for the trailer, sight unseen, as the trailer wasnt actually completed yet. We relied on specs from the client regarding specifics on sizing, and possible location options for the proposed signs.
Based on the recommendations from the client, the frame that surrounded the trailer and the rear gate, we came up with a plan. We proposed utilizing 3mm ACM (a composite material utilizing 2 thin sheets of aluminum sandwiched together with a polyethylene core). This material would be attached to the existing metal trailer frame and rear gate for stability. The two side signs were 10'W x 1'H and held the same design for both. Since we had more space to utilize on the rear gate, we were able to include more pertinent information on that particular sign. In addition to the client's logo and phone number, we were able to include a multitude of the services offered.
For the digital graphics, we used HP GP gloss permanent calendered vinyl with the matching calendered laminate, HP polymeric gloss laminate which is printed on our HP printer using HP inks. These are designed to work together as a system to provide reliable, consistent, quality results. They also provide a better approach with end-to-end environmental sustainability.
