Sometimes the simplest sign can be the most effective. Many of our clients come to us with an idea or a problem that needs solving. We take the time to listen to their concerns and formulate a solution that fits their needs. Our latest client needed some signs to attach to his trailer and vehicle. Here is the process we initiated to help him choose the best option.
When a potential client inquires about vehicle or trailer signs, we dig a little deeper to see what they are trying to accomplish. In the case of our latest client, Exclusive Pressure Washing, the owner knew he wanted some signs to attach to his mid level trailer and maybe something on the vehicle as well. Since he had the vehicle with him, we did a quick survey. Here are some factors we consider when performing vehicle surveys:
- General condition of the vehicle or trailer-does it have any deep scratches, paint or body damage, extensive rivets, etc..
- Does it have any existing graphics that need removing? What is the approximate age of the graphics? The longer the graphics are on the vehicle, the harder it may be to remove them adding increased labor costs
- Any complex curves? Area that would hinder the vinyl adhesion? Deep grooves and complex curves in a vehicle lead us to choose specific vinyls that can handle that type of issue.
- Notice any other potential problems based on the vehicle layout or condition
It is important to have eyes on a vehicle to determine all of these factors before pricing. Without the detailed information from a survey, we can only estimate a range of what the job would cost the client. To choose the correct wrap materials, it is important to know the details of the vehicle to ensure the best end result. Imagine guessing which vinyl will perform best for the type of vehicle in question and hope that it works out! We want to be as accurate as possible so we take many measurements and inspect the vehicle very closely. 
Based on our discussion with our current client, he opted for ACM metal signs that he would attach directly to his trailer with reinforced bolts.
