Judy with Veteran’s Village contacted Insignia Signs in need of a new face for a monument sign. The apartment complex had just been purchased by Veteran’s Village and they needed a new sign for the front of the property. Judy liked what Insignia had to offer and accepted our proposal for installation of a new monument sign. This article outlines our project for Veteran’s Village.
Pictured below on the left is the original monument sign the way it was when Veteran’s Village bought the complex. The picture on the right is after Dean installed a new face on the monument sign.
Veterans Village is a transitional and permanent housing residence for United States Veterans. Public and private collaborative partnerships have been created to provide supplies and services to residents including housing, medical and mental health services, employment training, referrals and placements, food pantry/nutrition programs and transportation to the VA Hospital and primary care clinics.
To create this monument entrance sign first we printed a 36″ x 80″ full color graphic with out HP Latex Printer. Next the graphic was laminated to protect it from harsh weather. After that the graphic was cut to size as well as the 1/8″ thick piece of Aluminum composite panel that it was being laid on. Once the sign was ready Dean transported it to the Veteran’s Village location. Dean removed all of the existing letters on the monument sign and then adhered the new sign with industrial strength double sided tape and silicone.
