Patsy with Yoga Energy Las Vegas was opening a brand new yoga studio. Opening a new business takes A LOT and one thing that’s necessary- SIGNS! Patsy was referred to Insignia by a mutual friend and we always appreciate a referral. Trust in Insignia means a lot to us.
Dean went to Yoga Energy Las Vegas to do a site survey. At the survey, he took pictures of the building, inside and out, and also took detailed measurements. Patsy knew she wanted a banner above her door, window vinyl, and interior vinyl. Once the site survey was done, I was able to scale the pictures in our design software and begin the design process. Since Yoga Energy Las Vegas is a new business, we needed to help Patsy create a logo. She had a few great ideas of what she was looking for, so we helped her put it all together.
After a few minor changes to the layouts, a vinyl banner above the door, window graphics, and interior vinyl were all approved. Some landlords require channel letters, so rather than spending thousands of dollars on those letters as a new business, Patsy decided to go with a banner for now, to save money but still make sure her customers know where she’s located.
The banner was printed, hemmed, and grommeted. The window vinyl consisted of both cut vinyl and digital vinyl. The vinyls are very similar, the main decision factor on which vinyl we use is how many colors are included. Since the windows at Yoga Energy Las Vegas have a white backing to them, we used black cut vinyl. We used cut vinyl for all the black vinyl on the windows, and used digital vinyl for the logo. We printed the logo on our HP Latex Printer and laminated it in a matte laminate. Insignia is proud to use a UV laminate unlike many sign stores, which gives exterior digital vinyl a much longer lifespan outside.
The interior vinyl was also black cut vinyl. Dean installed the vinyl directly onto the wall and since it had a slight texture, he used a heat gun to allow the vinyl to form into the bumps of the texture. Patsy added shelves and candles to create a beautiful look in her studio!
