Insignia Signs received a request for new signage from Insurance Advisors of Nevada. Their new office was in need of various new signs so Insignia was happy to help! There were a few different things Paula knew she needed – vinyl on 2 doors, 1 window, vinyl on a monument sign, and 2 sets of Dibond logos.
The first step was a site survey. Dean went to their office to take pictures and measurements. The process of site surveys is essential in the quoting process because the price Insignia provides is based on the size. Once Dean has the pictures and measurements, I import them into FlexiSign, the design software we use at Insignia Signs. The pictures are then scaled to size, which allows us to send our customer a proof of exactly what their new signs will look like, and also allows us to quote the job.
There were many parts of the signage Insurance Advisors of Nevada. Their company color is aqua so Paula wanted to use that on all their signs. The most common color for door and window vinyl is white but any bright color stands out great, so aqua on the doors and windows really popped.
Another part of the signage Insurance Advisors needed was on the pillars in their business park. Attracting a customer’s attention is always a business’ top priority. Insignia’s tagline is IN A CITY OF SIGNS – STAND OUT and that’s exactly what we help our customers do. Insurance Advisors went with a 1/8″ thick aluminum composite panel for both pillar signs. We painted the letters and for the logo, laid digital vinyl which we laminated with our UV matte lam.
The materials for exterior dimensional letters in Las Vegas are limited due to the heat and sun. We normally recommend the aluminum composite panel material, which is DIBOND because it’s so long lasting and durable.
These letters and circular logo were cut from a 4×8 sheet of DIBOND on our CNC router. The letters were then painted and the circular logo was printed on our HP Latex Printer and laminated. These letters were installed with clear silicone and a VHB high strength double sided tape to hold the letters in place while the silicone dried.
