Insignia Signs specializes in custom signage, but we also fabricate and install template signs that are required in apartment complexes in the Las Vegas Valley. Several common signs Insignia produces include: No Trespassing, Tow Away Zone, No Parking, STOP signs, No Smoking, Pool Rules, and more. Many of these signs are required with the city and have associated NRS codes. Insignia can design custom layouts on these signs, or produce standard signage. Many apartment complexes have color schemes they choose to stick with for all signage, and that is not a problem at all, everything we produce is customized!
When a standard sign is ordered, the material required is determined depending on where the sign is going to be installed. If the sign is flushed against a building or installed vertically on a post, we use .040 Aluminum. If the sign is going on a post horizontally, we would recommend a .063 Aluminum to prevent any chance of the sign bending or warping in the wind. The .063 is a thicker Aluminum and would prevent any possible damage. If an Aluminum sign is going on a post, we always recommend rounded corners to prevent sharp corners on the signs. Another material we can use for these signs is Dibond. Dibond is a very popular material for outdoor signage because it’s thicker and sturdier than aluminum. Dibond is an aluminum composite panel, it is (2) .040 pieces of aluminum with a black condensed PVC in the middle. We use this material mainly if the sign is going on a fence.
This “NO SWIMMING, OR OTHER USE OF FACILITY ALLOWED AFTER DARK” sign was done with Dibond and installed with self tappers directly into the fence. This notice was required by the City to be posted in the pool area. To produce these signs there are 2 options for fabrication – we can cut the vinyl using our Graphtec plotter, or we can print it on digital vinyl with our HP Latex Printer and use a UV laminate.
