KNCH Law was in need of etched glass vinyl on the windows of their conference room for added privacy. Insignia Sign's graphic designer sent several layouts over to James at KNCH he chose the one he liked best and the job was approved. This article outlines our etched glass vinyl job for KNCH Law. The photos below are of the the etched glass vinyl after being installed. The new graphics add a very classy touch to the conference room wall of windows. They have been in business for over 30 years and their broad spectrum of practice areas include litigation defense, business law, employment law, insurance coverage and bad faith, environmental law, and most types of general practice areas. They have clients ranging from small business owners a to large nationwide home and commercial builders. The etched glass vinyl was plotted with Insignia's Graphtec plotter then taken back to the warehouse to be weeded and masked with transfer tape. This job required two bodies for installation so we sent Dean and Elizabeth our graphic designer. Once on the job site they measured out the exact location and then wet applied the etched glass vinyl with spray bottles and moved it into position and squeegeed it down. While waiting for the vinyl to dry they popped in to a nearby pizza joint for a quick bite to eat. As soon as they finished their lunch they headed back to the conference room to see if any bubbles had surfaced. Before leaving the job site Elizabeth and Dean smoothed out all bubbles and then removed the application tape. Etched glass vinyl gives the appearance of real etched glass at a fraction of the cost by eliminating the need for sandblasting. Unlike real etched glass, etched glass vinyl is very affordable and it is non-permanent, it can be removed whenever needed.
