Judy with Veterans Village is taking over a new property called Veterans Village 2. They will be converting an existing apartment complex and needed several new signs to brand the new complex. Judy called Insignia Signs and explained all of the signs she needed, we put together a proof and an estimate then completed a site survey and started working on the production of a banner, a monument sign and a few aluminum signs.
The photos below are of the new signs after being installed. The sign on the left is a monument sign made of dibond, the signs in the middle are made of aluminum and dibond and the photo on the far right is a banner.
Veterans Village is a transitional and permanent housing residence for United States Veterans. Public and private collaborative partnerships have been created to provide supplies and services to residents including housing, medical and mental health services, employment training, referrals and placements, food pantry/nutrition programs and transportation to the VA Hospital and primary care clinics.
The monument sign is made of dibond and 2x4s. First the 48″ x 40″ full color graphic was printed with our HP Latex printer. The graphic was cut to size and applied to a piece of dibond. The 2x4s were placed in the ground and drilled in the to sign for stability. The metropolitan police badge sign is a 2′ x 2′ full color graphic applied to a piece of dibond that was drilled in to the building. The private property sign is a 18″ x 12″ full color graphic applied to a piece of aluminum and drilled into the building The welcome banner is 4′ x 12′ and was printed directly onto the banner material by our HP latex printer. We used a grommet machine to install grommets every foot. The banner was hung by our installer with a drill and a ladder.
