Insignia Signs recently acquired a Ford 150 white truck with an extended cab. A truck is necessary for a sign company that does installations. We must have a means to transport all of our large items to and from the job site. This article outlines the production and installation of our vehicle graphics and perforated vinyl. Pictured below is our new truck with vinyl decals on the drivers side. We added the same decals to the passenger side and we also added our list of services to the back lift gate of the truck. The picture below is the back window of the truck with perforated vinyl. The vinyl was sprayed with a special protectant that will help it withstand the desert sun. After the protectant is applied the vinyl must sit for 24 hours before being applied.      The black vinyl text on the truck was cut with our Graphtec plotter and all of the full color vinyl graphics were printed on our HP Latex printer. The design on the perforated vinyl was printed with our HP Latex printer. After printing the perforated vinyl it was hand cut by our production manager Dean who then wet applied the cut out piece to the truck. Once he had the design placed perfectly he cut around the edges with an exacto knife for a perfect fit. The perforated vinyl is dry within 15 minutes and ready to be seen all around town!
