Insignia Signs Vegas recently contacted by Flex, a local Vegas cocktail lounge needing updated signage. They requested new vinyl for a building sign, new vinyl for their custom light box and directional door vinyl. Their existing signage had been weathered by the desert wind and sun. This article will outline each step of our project for Flex Cocktail Lounge. In the photos below you will see the before and after pictures of the light box. The photo on right shows the light box with no vinyl or lexan cover. The photo to the left is the finished light box with the lexan and vinyl overlay.           In the image to the left you will see a close up of the building sign. First Insignia Signs Vegas used our 54" Graphtec Plotter to cut directional vinyl for Flex's doors. Our next task was to print a 76.5" x 216" full color decal. This print was too large to be printed at once by our 54" HP Latex printer so it was split into two prints and pieced together on site during the install. The print was then covered with UV protective laminate. Lastly we printed a 24" x 216" vinyl decal which was also covered with UV protective laminate. This decal was also too large to print at once so it was split into two decals. During installation the two decals were laid onto freshly cleaned lexan pieces which were then mounted in to the light box.
