Pay it forward. It’s what we all could do a little more of….
During the December Broomfield Chamber Business After Hours held at the George Di Ciero Broomfield City and County Building, I had the pleasure of meeting Adam Baksa. Adam is the General Manager of the ReStore located in Broomfield, Colorado. I enjoyed getting to know him, and learn about the many wonderful things that Habitat for Humanity does in the communities it serves.
Habitat for Humanity is an organization where they “work in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building houses so that there are decent homes in decent communities… To date (their) affiliate has built or rehabilitated 71 homes for deserving families in their community (and) has funded 114 Habitat homes internationally, in Guatemala, Mexico and South Africa.”
During our conversation, I learned that they had acquired a truck through the generosity of several donors, and they were interested in wrapping the truck. A box truck offers a fantastic way to get noticed and attract attention. It is a “mobile billboard”.
To help Habitat for Humanity, an organization that relies on donations to fund their projects, Reflection Signs and Graphics donated a majority of the cost of wrapping their box truck. The image below shows the box truck before the wrap. In the image above, you can see the truck after the installation.
Flatirons Habitat for Humanity uses this truck to pick up donations from people in the community, which they, in turn, sell at their ReStore (http://www.flatironsrestore.com/). If you are interested in helping, and paying it forward, visit their store to drop off donations, or call them to schedule a pick- up, 303-404-2008!
If you know someone that needs a box truck wrap, or any other type of sign for their business, give us a call!
