Westlake real estate firm HomeSmart Top Flight Professionals, headed by Brian G. Walsh, recently moved into their new space at 901 Canterbury Road. The company is a real estate brokerage, independently owned and operated. Their tag line is
Real Estate Made Easy. HomeSmart endeavors to make the home buying process easier for both sellers and buyers as well as simpler for agents through the use of cutting-edge technology. Brian has been in the business almost thirty years, spending the last 15 years as RE/Max Pros. His agents average approximately 20 years of experience.
While coming to grips with requirements for an outside identification sign, Brian decided to gain exposure by putting a large sign on the interior wall facing the parking lot. He called on All Kinds of Signs for assistance.

Interior Wal sign[/caption]
The wall, rising from the floor but not meeting the ceiling, displays distressed wood. After listening to Brian’s thoughts and constraints, All Kinds of Signs suggested mounting a sheet of aluminum to a tubular frame with a heavier aluminum sheet for mounting to the wall. Graphics (letters) are painted cut acrylic, ¼” thick. The returns on the mounting plate are also painted.
The intent was that the sign be legible not only from the inside but also from the parking lot. Given this and the graphics to be displayed, we eventually decided the sign should be 40” high x 74” wide. While large enough to easily read from outside, the sign is comfortably sized for the wall it adorns. The color scheme was derived from Home Smart’s logo in combination with a silver background, which not only sets off the letters but compliments the distressed wood.

The sign appeared on a recent cover of Mimi, a local publication, along with Brian and his wall mural of Euclid Avenue in Cleveland circa 1900.
Now, about that exterior sign…
