When owner Tina Hamrick wanted to convey this information at a local business expo, she realized the first step was to attract interested parties to her booth. To help with this process, she turned to All Kinds of Signs. We decided to utilize a retractable banner stand and a stand-up tabletop sign with ‘techy’ feet. The 36” wide banner stand was selected for several reasons. Most importantly, it presented a large, digitally printed image that attracted the attention of passersby. The Silverstep banner stand is a quality unit that will last a long time yet is very reasonably priced. It comes with a sturdy, handsome case. Banner stand, banner(s) and case are lightweight and easy to carry. Unlike many other stands, banners can be changed out an infinite number of times if so desired. We printed on anti-curl, opaque banner material for maximum readability.  The banner is easily pulled and attached to the telescopic pole. Both set-up and tear-down are easily and quickly accomplished. It was decided to use a foam board with a polystyrene face for the table-top sign. Tina wanted to use the sign over and over but didn’t want anything that was exorbitantly priced. The polystyrene/foam board was only marginally more money than standard foamcore but won’t dent easily and is generally much more durable. We chose ‘spider feet’ to keep the board upright as they are easy to use, work well and Tina felt they looked ‘techy’. Tina used her talents to come up with the basic designs, which all Kinds of Signs tweaked to give easily read graphics that fit well in the allotted spaces. The anti-curl banner material was printed on an HP latex printed and installed in the stand. Our flatbed printer printed directly on the polystyrene board. The end result – attendees, attracted to her display, could quickly ascertain what BITS could do for them. Prospects that had a need talked to her. Win-win!
