All Kinds of Signs suggested printing on a relatively new product named Glass Adhere, manufactured by Pro Graphics Network LLC, an Ohio company. The material is available in both white and clear. As Charles Scott Salon and Spa wanted to apply the graphics to the inside of the window, we opted for the clear. In that way, we reverse print on the side of the material that does not go against the window, then print a flood white background on top of the color. This is necessary as without it, the graphic would be hard to see. The white really helps it pop.
Charles Scott supplies the artwork. All Kinds of Signs is happy to work with a customer’s artwork or do designs in-house. When using supplied artwork, we assess the file for suitability for the purpose in terms of reproducibility. If the final product will not look right due to the quality of the artwork, the customer is advised before the project is continued. We also ask that fonts be turned into line art, so the computer sees the letters as just artwork and not a font. This prevents the computer from substituting a font that the computer does not have for the intended font, which significantly alters the design of the artwork. Artwork supplied by Charles Scott has been first rate.
When printing clear Glass Adhere, All Kinds of Signs uses a UV printer. The print is ready to be trimmed as soon as it comes off the printer and is then ready for installation.
Charles Scott installs the print themselves. While All Kinds of Signs offers installation service, most customers opt to install Glass Adhere themselves. It is relatively easy and rewarding, especially with 2 people . Glass Adhere has no adhesive and is not static cling. After removing the liner, water is applied to the print and the glass. The print is put in position on the window. All the water is pressed out with a squeegee. Wipe up the expelled water and you are done!
The print can be easily removed when desired. There is no adhesive mess.

Charles Scott Salons & Spas is a well-known and well-respected organization with locations on the west side of Cleveland. Starting with their highly trained personable staff, the salons offer virtually every facet of care for hair, skin and nails.
When the salon located in Crocker Park in Westlake decided to use some of their many windows to gain additional exposure with the multitude of passersby, they asked All Kinds of Signs to help. After asking a few questions to get a feel for the project, we learned that the plan was to apply short-term reusable graphics to a number of windows to promote seasonal specials.
