La Costa Villa is a residential community development in Oceanside.
They were having a community event and were extremely aware their Monument Sign was is rough shape. Monument Signs say a lot about a community and this Monument Sign did not communicate a good story.
The result is shown here, the before photo is below. We started by taking the old letters off, resurfacing the sign face and then installed new letters. The letters are plastic, they can be matched and replaced.
The ability to replace missing letters is more important on Monument signs than other types of signs. This is even more true in residential communities with kids. The letters tend to go missing. It is pretty cool to have your own letter in a backpack….when you are 12 years old
Monument Signs set the tone of the place. By having an attractive monument sign, you announce to the world – this is a great place to live. This makes filling vacancies easier, rents easier to collect and gives the residence a certain pride in their choice to be with you.
When a tenant needs to move, in is normally a life event. Tenants lose jobs, are reassumed, get married, divorced, they get pregnant, receive raises, or have problems with a neighbor. Whatever the reason they normally know they need to find another place about 30-60 days before they really move. It this period they drive by place after place until they see something they think is nice. The Monument sign can pull these people in, and make your phone ring or repel them and leave you with vacancies. Have you looked at your Monument Sign recently? Maybe you are working harder than you should. A good monument sign is like a sales person, working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The initial purchase is high, but after that, no additional cost is required, but it pulls like an advertisement.
