They needed to mark there entrance on the street and then again to divide the traffic into visitors and deliveries. Telling customers, vendors, employees and everybody else to the right place with the right tone and clarity. This is a difficult area for wood, Wood is a great material, but the lawn irrigation, the exposure to insects and the risk of dry rot are ever present. Signs for San Diego removed 2 older signs and these were sad. The base where the wood met the ground had suffered for years and was weak. The signs had been patched with multiple faces on top of each other. There was nothing salvageable.
Signs for San Diego removed the older signs and replaced them with a post and panel design. The new monument signs are Aluminum posts. They never rust, or deteriorate. Insects and water can not affect Aluminum. The posts have an is removable and updatable. This is a major improving and will look great for many years.
