The signs had been patched with multiple faces on top of each other. There was nothing salvageable.
Signs for San Diego removed the older signs and replaced them with a post and panel design. The new monument signs are Aluminum posts. They never rust, or deteriorate. Insects and water can not affect Aluminum. The posts have an is removable and updatable. This is a major improving and will look great for many years.
