Vista Royalodge had a monument sign that was in trouble. Its best days were far behind it and it was visually pulling
the community down. It was time for an overhaul. They called Signs for San Diego to address the problem:
They had an older monument sign with a stained paper map. They wanted a clean map mounted is a weather proof way in an existing masonry structure. We salvaged the existing structure and used no paper and as little wood as possible. The wood original to the monument was gone and some replacement wood was laded in place. Basically – it was a mess.
What we did The replacement and rebuild makes their new map water resistant. The map is in a “sandwich” the first layer is an Aluminum and plastic composite called DiBond. DiBond is impervious to water and impact resistant the map is the next layer. It is printed on vinyl then UV laminated – Again, impact resistant and water resistant. The last layer is a clear acrylic. This makes a tuff impact and weather resistant sign.
We were happy to be asked to help Vista Royalodge. They have solved the 2 problems with us. If you have a project we would like to help you too. Please give us a call.
Have a sign problem, give us a call and we will see what can be done.
