LALA US was moving their corporate office into a large shared office space at Venture X in Dallas, Texas. They wanted to promote their brand and their company culture in their space in a way that was unique, bold and inspiring but was removable as well. They found Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions online and reached out to us after appreciating our previous work. They explained they wanted to start with 5 separate projects, so we paid them a visit and conducted an onsite survey even though their space was still under construction. They were looking to start with some wall graphics as well as some window graphics and we were excited about their graphic vision.
LALA US’s parent company was founded over six decades ago in Torreón, Coahuila. In 2005 they expanded into the US and began acquiring manufacturing plants throughout North America in 2009. With six strong core values always driving them, they are on a mission to nurture the lives of their consumers. Some of their current brands include: LALA, Promised Land Dairy, Skim Plus and Nordica.
The quickest of the projects was a vinyl wall graphic for one of their brands; Promised Land Dairy. To create this wall graphic, we obtained the graphic file from the customer and printed the image onto premium wall vinyl and applied a matte laminate before cutting and masking it. The diameter of this wall graphics was 50” and it was installed directly onto their office wall.

Next, we got to work on the glass window walls for their conference room. To execute their vision for these window graphics, we installed frosted vinyl with cut black vinyl graphic text on top. Their conference room windows consisted on 2 window panels as well as a glass door. Installed 21” from the top of the frame, the graphics were 50” tall thereby leaving a blank area above and below the panels. The total width of the combined graphics was 153”. The statements they provided to us were all inspiring and reflected statements of their company culture.

We then moved onto their huddle rooms. For these 5 separate rooms they wanted to have white tear drops that had radiating rings around a solid center. Each room was to have 2 vinyl window graphics in white that were offset in opposite upper and lower corners. The bottom tear drop was to be installed on both the window and door. Therefore, there would be 10 teardrop vinyl window graphics in total with the largest ones being approximately 45” tall. In addition to the window graphics for the huddle rooms, they also wanted some wall mural graphics. The provided us with a lovely dark blue graphic with light blue flowers. We were able to expand and repeat this graphic to create 126” wide by 103” tall wall mural graphic that was printed on premium wall vinyl before having a matte laminate applied to it.
The final project at this time was to install a window wall mural. They wanted the mural of window graphics to be in color and visible form both sides. To achieve this look, we printed color onto premium etched glass vinyl. The images they provided to us were icons that represent their business. In total there were 5 glass panels along with a glass door. As the door was not installed at the time of our survey, we had to adjust the graphics to accommodate for the area where door handles usually are, keeping in mind that there can be a slight variation depending on the style of door. The total space for these window graphics was 324” wide by 94” tall.

We were able to complete all these installations during regular business hours without disrupting the workflow of the customers’ workday. This is a cost saver to the customer and allows them to see the work in progress. If any questions arise for either company, they can be addressed quickly.
