Portfolio was looking for a lobby sign to match their professionalism at their Addison, Texas location. They found Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions online and reached out to us. They wanted to come by our office to check out some lobby sign materials, so we told them to come on over!
Portfolio provides vehicle owner protection products such as warranties, GAP coverage, service contracts, appearance protection, anti-theft and more. For over 25 years they have been providing these products to automobiles, powersport and RVs.
When they arrived at our office, they had an idea of what they wanted for their lobby sign based on their own research done online. They knew they wanted a clear acrylic sign with stand offs and some dimensional letters. We talked about taking their dimensional letter vision a step further by making their logo have multiple layers and they loved the idea. We were able to quickly provide a mock up of the lobby sign for their approval and match their company colors perfectly. Our design and production teams got to work on the 60”x 24” clear acrylic lobby sign. They reverse installed a frosted vinyl on the lobby sign and then got to work on the compass logo. To achieve the multi level dimensional logo, they printed, laminated and cut the vinyl before installing it directly onto the ¼” bottom layer and the 1/8” upper layer. The logo was then installed directly onto the lobby sign. Finally, we outsourced the dimensional letters of their name because the script font was so delicate. The completed lobby sign was installed with 1” stand offs to create even further depth to the lobby sign. With the lobby sign installed, Portfolio was so happy with the results that they asked Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions to create a multi dimensional wall graphic to reflect their company core values; check back soon for that project blog and photos!
