KidStrong has been trusting Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions with all their sign and graphic needs since they opened their first Texas studio location in Frisco back in 2018. With locations now in three different states, it was time to create a headquarters and they found a great space in in McKinney, TX to make that happen. They knew that Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions was here to help them create their HQ vision.
KidStrong has been creating superheroes since 2015. Their science backed program helps parents develops kids that are not only physically strong and confident, but these kids are learning important life skills such as coping, sportsmanship, socially acceptable behaviors and how to use those skills effectively. To that mix they add mental development such as math, geography and using money. It is a brain to toe development program that is fun.

The first project for us was to create and install their outdoor pan sign. Since they did not need an electrical sign, they went with a durable and cost effective aluminum pan sign. Measuring in at a massive 19 feet long and 4 feet tall, this pan sign was created with two coats of paint in their KidStrong blue. Pan sign feature four 90˚ returns on all corners that allow for all the mounting hardware to be hidden once the sign is installed. Pan signs are typically rectangular or square, but they can be made in circles or ovals too. These light weight signs can withstand extreme climates and can be used outside and indoors as well. The installed KidStrong pan sign looks amazing with its bold colors contrasting against the light stone of the building.
The next project was to create vinyl stickers to be placed on their patent pending Krawlers®. We produced these vinyl graphics and delivered then to the equipment manufacturer for installation. We also created brag boards that are used for photographs with the kids when various milestones are achieved. The pictures are posted on social media by both coaches and parents, best of all the kids are so proud to celebrate their accomplishments!

The third project was the indoor sign for the studio. The first was the lobby sign that was installed behind the front desk. This 4’x4’ sign was made with printed, laminated and cut vinyl directly applied to an ACM board. The sign was then installed on the wall using brushed nickel stand offs. The next identification signs are the pillars that each class is focused on achieving. Using photos of actual members and coaches throughout the county, each photo represented one of the three pillar: physical, metal/brain, character. These identification signs were created by printing the photos onto vinyl that was applied directly onto foam board.

Finally, the amazing wall graphics. The first set was two quotes. One was to the parents, reminding them of why they and their children are KidStrong members. The second was the “I am strong. I am brave. I can do this” mantra which starts and ends every single class. The next wall graphic was the large 23 foot angled banner with KidStrong printed on it. Installed on the green back wall, it was 30.5” tall. The final set of wall graphics was completed by installing black vinyl on the side wall that ran the length of the two workout/class floors. The black on white wall graphics were completed with a 48” tall stripe running the length of each wall featuring an off center 8 foot tall KidStrong logo. The black vinyl stripe of one room was 17” long and the stripe in the other room was just over 25” long. These black and white wall graphics are matched in the vehicle graphics we did for one of the owner’s trucks.
