When we sat down with Dr. Chafetz to talk about the features he wanted in his office directory sign, he explained that the sign had to match the overall décor of his office.  He also wanted a wooden inlay that had his suite number on it in dimensional letters along with ADA braille.  We provided him with two shades of wood printed vinyl for his selection.  Moving onto tenant names, he wanted to have the ability to change the names of the practitioners.  In a shared office space, it is not unusual for tenants to change office spaces.  We wanted to have something that looked professional and he wanted something that could not be tampered with by people passing by.  To achieve this look we designed a black acrylic board and affixed an aluminum sheet to it.  Then we applied a magnetic receptive backing.  We then printed each tenant name, along with some other text onto magnetic receptive vinyl.  Each tenant would have their own strip of vinyl that could be changed out or updated as necessary.  With all the vinyl printed and placed in the magnetic backing, we then applied a clear sheet of acrylic that would protect the office directory sign.  The 27”x17” office directory sign was then mounted to Dr. Chafetz’s office wall using stand off wall mounts.  Dr. Chafetz loves his new office directory sign and was excited to see his vision on his wall.
