[caption id="attachment_2373" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Here is a close up of the installed etched glass vinyl for Clean Energy.[/caption] Etched glass is a stunning way to brand a glass door or panel.  Back when etched glass first became a process in the mid 1800’s, it was a costly, time consuming and permanent process.  It also used harmful chemicals to achieve the desired frosted look.  As time passed, the chemicals became safer but the results still remained permanent and the cost high due to the amount of labor needed.  Today, we the ability to use vinyl to achieve the exact look of etched glass.  We also have multiple variations of the etched glass too.  From diamond sparkle to ombre effect, we can cut etched glass vinyl in many ways.  When Clean Energy wanted to have their logo and name added to their glass door in etched glass graphics, they were referred to Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions through a networking contact from the Dallas Executives Association (DEA).  They gave us a call and we started talking about what their etched glass door graphics would look like. Clean Energy reduces pollution from the transportation industry by providing natural gas to power vehicles.  They know that each business is different and they work hard to find the best natural gas fueling solution for each customer. They had just moved into the new location and they needed the etched glass vinyl graphics installed quickly so their customers could find them.  We were able to visit their location to get some measurements and take photos of the glass door.  This also allowed us to see the door to ensure it was in good repair and to see the installation area.  When installing any graphics on a door we like to know that we will not be disturbing the regular work flow for our customers.  They explained that they wanted their logo and name to measure 30”x16” and to be installed 24” from the top of the door frame.  They were able to provide us vector files of both their name and logo which made our design team’s job easy.  We got to cutting the etched glass graphics on Oracal vinyl that same day and prep them for installation.  The following day our Visual Dynamics Sign and Image Solutions install team went to the Clean Energy office and quickly installed the etched glass vinyl graphics on the glass door.  The customer was so happy that we were able to work within their tight timeline.
