Wall graphics are a great way to define your space. They are more than framed pictures on a wall. They give you the opportunity to creatively express a message and set the feeling for any room. Window graphics for a retail location are essential to the identity for your location to customers. Eggersmann USA was opening a flagship store in the Dallas Design District and they contacted us to help with some stunning and unique wall graphics. They also needed some window graphics for this incredible location.
Founded in Germany in 1908, Wihelm Eggersmann knew that people should have the best cabinetry in their kitchens. Those cabinets also needed to be as unique as the people who used those kitchens; not boring, mass produced and functioned poorly. Their modern luxury kitchen designs boast clean lines and are breath taking.
They needed two vinyl wall graphics to be installed. The first was 150” wide by 105” tall and the second was 82” wide by 80” tall. For this project, we selected Oracal 651 vinyl in matte white. The matte laminate was selected to reduce any glare for the light or from the windows. Glare would make the text portion of the vinyl graphics difficult to read. To apply the intricate wall graphics, we used transfer tape on the cut vinyl and applied them directly to both walls.
The vinyl window graphics on the other hand did not need to have a matte finish, so we selected a 3M vinyl and laminate to provide the customer with a better price point for this graphic. The window graphics were not as intricate as the wall graphics, but we still used transfer tape to ensure the installation was easy for our team. The results are just as unique and striking as the kitchen designs made by eggersmann USA.
