San Francisco, CA – How Do You Survive A Long Flight In The Economy? – Travel Ti…

BY: MATT MEYER, ALL BUSINESS CLASS

You’ve been ready, you’ve had a sleepless night, because you’re so nervous about this trip and get to the airport. Check-in, goodbyes, security (unpack all your technology equipment, repack), passport control, snacks for shops at excess prices and you finally reach the door. Middle lines, no armrests, children moaning, stuff you don’t like putting in your body? Are you familiar with sounds? So how can you fly in an economic class comfortably? Is this likely even?

You’ll survive your next ride in a splash with my tips for long-haul flights below in economy!

  • Make Sure You Select The Right Seat

Just sat directly in front of the toilets, choose a window seat, but there was no window or there was limited room to sit on a couch?? When you check in online, most airlines will allow you to choose your seat. Yes, at check-in you can also ask, but if your plane is complete, your choices may be limited. Many airlines make you pay for the number of seats I trim at, but do that whenever that means that I’ve had a convenient flight. You have it!

  • Wear Comfortable Clothes And Layer Up

Ever wondered what to wear on long-distance economy flights? The most convenient and dry travel clothes for long flights are easy to lay down. You may want to wear compression socks to avoid thrombosis caused by blood clots on your long flight. I also have a extra jacket to keep me warm, which can be pillowed or used as a sheet. Jackets with extra pockets are perfect as you can store everything you need for long-haul flights.

  • Bring The Right In-Flight Essentials

  • Sanitary towels are a great invention for keeping your seat sanitized and convenient when using the washing facilities.

  • A decent pillow and eye mask should be an essential component of your flight in order to make sleeping easier. It’s complicated on planes, and I don’t think I ever really woke up on an airplane restful. Nonetheless, giving your body a rest is necessary. Use a blanket of silk and a mask for sleeping silks.

  • Make a travel kit and put it in storage with the required medication, toothbrush, toothpaste, a small washer, a small facial cleaner, hand cream, tissue, nose spray and a contact lens solution.

  • Chewing gum can help to pop up your ears on landings. It also helps to keep your breath fresh and clean your teeth, I understand that if you don’t want to brush your teeth in your toilet.

  • Take your own treats aboard when you have special needs or are disgusted with aviation fare. The great and simple to hold almonds, brizzles and granola bars, rice cakes or dried fruits.

  • Hydration, Hydration, Hydration

Yeah, have much water to drink! It’s never a good idea to have much drink the night before going on a long flight, you know what I’m talking about, if you’ve ever done so. In addition, if you’re extra intelligent, you’re not going to drink carbonated drinks such as coke and all others with bubbles because they make you feel bloated because of the pressurized cabin.
