Once a sign has lived its life, it’s fun to design and install a new, modern one. The Fairdale Shoppes near our office was doing just that, and we were excited to help in the process. They operate a multi-tenant shopping center, so we knew we were going to have an impressive monument on our hands.
The pictures provided show the sign during the day, as well as when it is lit at night. As compared to the previous sign, the new one is not only taller, but much more noticeable. It has a clean and professional design that is in line with the buildings around it, and the panels make it very easy for passersby to locate their favorite stores. At night, the sign is softly lit to advertise those businesses effectively, even as visibility decreases.
Fairdale Shoppes is a convenient strip mall located directly across from the ever-busy Rosedale Center. They currently feature 9 tenants that range from coffee and sandwiches to cell phones and art supplies. With its prime location, this space sees people coming and going at all hours of the day. That fact makes having an effective and easy-to-read sign of the most importance.
This sign was quite the undertaking, with multiple companies coming together to create the final product. The process started with demolition of the old sign and preparation of the ground for the new base. A local construction and tile company did a great job on the brick base, giving the sign a very sturdy foundation. The rest of the frame was then built on top, with the store panels lettering to follow.
This sign is a great investment for this shopping center because it truly is eye-catching. It sits at a major intersection at
an already high-traffic area, which will help guide customers to these stores. It should also help with traffic flow, as customers will easily see where their turn is and can easily navigate to their destination. This upgrade reflects a high-scale shopping establishment, something great for the area and local businesses.
