Sometimes doing the same kind of signs over and over gets a little monotonous, so we are happy to have something different pop into the queue. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with DC Group on some corporate signage for their location. They wanted something to help showcase their software and explain a little bit about how the company operates. The pictures provided show the five panels we created and installed for our client. DC Group’s utilizes a signature bright green color for branding, something that really helps these metallic, acrylic signs stand out. Each sign details their software and services, which is a helpful tool for clients and employees alike. Founded in 1991 and based locally in Minneapolis, DC Group is a service-only company that provides uninterruptible power supplies and backup power service and maintenance. Through their success, the business’ reach extends throughout the United States, Canada, and other parts of North America. Their services are crucial for many industries, helping businesses maintain operations with as little headache as possible. These signs are comprised of a metallic backing sheet with a clear acrylic panel bolted on top using standoffs. The text and logos on the acrylic is a simple cut vinyl, set up in our creation software and sent to the printer. For installation, we first attached the metallic backing to guarantee each sign would be straight and level. We then took the standoffs and attached the acrylic panel over the top. The benefits for corporate signage are very similar to lobby signage, but they offer a little more in depth interaction. They provide the reader with additional information, whether it is about the company culture, operations, history, products or all of the above. These are often great for taking the customer’s mind of wait times, giving them something short and sweet to focus on until you’re ready to meet with them.
