We recently had the pleasure of working with Harvest Pack, a relief organization that works to help put healthy food on every table. They were interested in having a stencil of their logo made, so they could make their own rustic sign. The picture provided was sent to us from the customer after they had completed their project. The stencil was used on a reclaimed piece of pallet wood and features their signature logo colors. Harvest Pack is a humanitarian organization which serves the needs of both local and international communities. Many relief organizations just work in developing countries, but Harvest Pack leaders recognize that food insecurity - not knowing where the next meal is coming from - exists far too frequently here at home: 14.5 percent of households in the U.S. are “food insecure” and one in six families struggles with hunger, and hunger is an issue that compounds challenges with housing, safety, education, mental health, spirit and community. There was a very minimal process for this project on our part, since the application was done by our customer. A member of our design team laid out the Harvest Pack logo in design software and created a cut file that would form the stencil. Once cut, we shipped it off and couldn’t wait to see the end result. The benefits of signage are numerous, one major reason being that they help reinforce your brand in the minds of your customers and clients. Signs such as this one for Harvest Pack can have a greater edge against ‘typical’ signage because it’s also an interesting art piece. When used in a waiting room or lobby area, this gives a great first impression to those who enter your location and provides for a comfortable environment.
