Rivertown Cakes has been baking fluffy and delicious cupcakes since 2008, featuring their own signature butter cream frosting. Heather and her team started out focusing on weddings and special events until recently when they grew into their own retail space. They now feature multiple cases full of mouthwatering desserts that can be purchased individually or in quantity. Even though they specialize in cupcakes, it’s obvious they know their way around cookies, cakes, and pastries as well!
For this sign, we used 3/16’ white acrylic faces with internal white LEDs for the perfect illumination. The acrylic face for the “Bakery Boutique” piece has a translucent vinyl copy overlay, ensuring the light is not inhibited or captured underneath the material. For installation, the power supply was connected to existing hardware for a previous sign, with everything being bolted into the brick facade.

The picture provided shows the sign as it appears after installation. White and aqua come together against the brick background and project the business name well. It’s very easy to spot and the crisp font makes it very easy to read from a distance. At night, it is illuminated to ensure their customers can find it just as easily after dusk as they can in the morning.
