Great interior signage can make a positive impact on any space. We usually work with businesses on these kinds of projects, but when Wright Technical Center of Buffalo, MN reached out to us for signage help, we knew they could benefit too. They wanted something simple, yet classy, and they needed a new logo. Our designer worked closely with their staff until we came up with the perfect sign.
The images provided show the interior signage we designed and installed for the school. The black, brick background was the perfect setting to contrast the metallic blue and silver of the lettering, making it really pop. The blue “W” also fits in with the other blue accents they use in the rest of the hallway. The classic metal lettering really speaks to the modern and technical aspect that the school provides.
Established in 1972, Wright Technical Center is a cooperative public high school. They provide their students with fourteen different program choices based on their individual goals and interests. Their stated mission is, “To cooperate with member school districts to guide students though career exploration and skills development.”
To create this sign, we picked the perfect blue metallic color and styled their new “W” logo out of aluminum. We then followed with the rest of the letters, in the standard silver color. To install these letters, we used stud mounts that fit into holed drilled into the wall. We use a stencil of the letter layout to make sure all of the holes are exactly where we need them. Once the letters were in place, we did a final polish to ensure it was looking its best.
The benefits of interior metal lettering are just like any lobby sign. They provide a focal point for your space and let people know they are in the right place. It also shows an air of professionalism, and that the business or organization takes pride in their image. It’s also a great way to show off a new logo, like in the case of Wright Technical Center.
