We were recently contacted by Summit Re to help them design and install a custom lobby sign for their location in Roseville. They were looking for a sharp, clean, and professional sign that would effectively brand their space without being overwhelming. Lucky for them, we had just the thing in mind.
The image provided shows the finished sign as it appears in their office. The brushed metal gives it a very classy and trustworthy feel, and the flood light reflecting above it draws in the eye. As you can see, it doesn’t take up an unreasonable amount of the wall, helping the entire reception area look clean and inviting.
Founded in 1999, Summit Re is a reinsurance company that offers their clients medical management and consulting services. Currently, they are a leading underwriter of insurance and reinsurance solutions aimed to satisfy client risk management needs.
To create this lobby sign, we started with a blank piece of brushed aluminum. The logo was entered into our graphic software and sent to the printer, printed on standard 3M colored vinyl. After weeding out the excess vinyl, the lettering was lined up on the aluminum and carefully smoothed down. Hanging bolts were then attached, protruding out from the aluminum base and a clear acrylic covering was added. Once on location, installation was as simple as marking our holes, double checking our measurements, and inserting the bolts into the wall.
A branded lobby sign has many benefits. For one, it helps let customers and clients know that they are in the right place. It also helps reinforce your brand in their minds, hopefully helping to encourage them to utilize your services again. Of course, it’s important for that sign to be well-designed and installed, as an old and sloppy sign will only give negative impressions.
