We love doing creative wall wraps, so we were excited when we took on the job to produce and install one for ICS Consulting. They had a large, blank wall above a highly visible and well-traveled area at their Blaine location that was perfect for a branded display piece. They were also looking to have their business name put onto one of their construction trailers, and asked us to do that project as well.
The first picture shows the end result of the wall wrap on what was previously a drab space. Directly below the installation area is a reception desk and several employee cubicles, making it the perfect spot for everyone to notice. Not only does it turn a boring white wall into something interesting, but it also reinforces their company motto. The second picture shows the end result of the construction trailer branding portion of the project. They just wanted some simple vinyl lettering that displayed their business name and it turned out great!
ICS Consulting has their main office in Blaine, with two other locations nearby in Wisconsin. They specialize in customized facility planning and project-related services to both public and private businesses. Their website details some of the interesting projects they have completed, with clients such as Hazelden Treatment Center, Target Field, and numerous local elementary and middle schools.
To create the wall wrap, we first put a design file together in our design software and had a proof approved by the company. Once we got the okay, we went ahead printed it on a high-quality 3M, adhesive-backed vinyl. Installation was simply a matter of first thoroughly cleaning the surface to remove dust and other contaminants, and then aligning the graphic and slowly smoothing it over the entire wall. Creating and installing the vinyl lettering was very similar. We used a die-cutting machine to cut out the lettering, used an XACTO knife to weed out the excess material, and then took vinyl to the site and smoothed it out over the surface, carefully and slowly.
The benefits of branding your space are very apparent, as it reinforces your company in the minds of clients. Having a company motto also helps remind employees to work towards a common company goal and motivates them to do so. The branding on the construction trailer has similar benefits to a company vehicle wrap, giving you more exposure on a regular basis and getting your business name out there.
