We were recently contacted by KeyTronic EMS out of Oakdale, MN to manufacture and install a new sign for their office. Their conference room was lacking a little something on the walls and a professional, branded sign seemed like just the thing to fix it. They basically just wanted their logo, so we were able to skip the design phase and go straight to a mock-up and production.
The picture provided shows the finished sign as it sits on the conference room wall. The use of different colors for the logo and business name gives it depth and helps it stand out, while the vinyl lettering underneath gives it a full and complete look. We love using brushed metal for these kinds of signs because it’s hard for them to not look good when the light bounces off of them.

The logo and company name for the sign are made up of a smooth brushed metal that was stamped into the correct shapes. A high quality 3M vinyl was used for the slogan placed under the company name to give it a sense of contrast in both color and material. When it came to installation, we laid out a template against the wall to ensure all of the individual pieces would be drilled and placed in exactly the right spots.
It is important for a business to have a universal logo so that customers can instantly recognize it when they see it. The design should be kept consistent so as to not to cause confusion and it is beneficial to have it placed strategically around your location; this helps reinforce your brand in the mind of the customer. It’s good for employees too, because it helps give them a sense of pride in their employer and reminds them to keep company goals in mind.
