Recently, we were contacted by our friends at Holiday Stationstores to do some more vinyl work for them. Only this time, we were going to one of their corporate office, rather than one of their convenience stores. We've worked with them before, creating and installing window vinyl in particular, so they came to us for wall vinyl this time.
In the picture provided, you can see the end result of the project. It was a simple and quick job, but makes a great impact on their employees. The basic vinyl stands out against a muted wall, and the italics give it a little flair to help distinguish it from the other lettering.
Founded in 1928, Holiday ranks as the 25th largest convenience store in the United States. They operate stores across 10 states, amounting to a whopping 473 locations in all, yet they are still growing! We can see why, as they are truly dedicated to their employees, and stand by their chosen motto.
This vinyl lettering was a pretty simple and straightforward process. Once we had the appropriate size and font hashed out, it was as easy as sending it off to the die-cutting machine and then weeding the excess material away. The wall had been already prepped for us, so we able to get down to business right away. Applying lettering like this doesn't take too much time, but you have to make sure you don’t get ahead of yourself or the material can potentially bubble and/or tear.
The benefits of having something like this done in an office are that it helps add personality to the space, while motivating employees. Numerous studies have been done over the years about the relationship between employees and their work environment, and these have all shown that a quality work environment in turn helps with motivation and productivity. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to achieve these benefits though, as even the simplest touches tell your employees that you care.
