One of our most recent projects allowed us to work with the amazing staff at the Sugar Lake Lodge, located about two hours northwest of Duluth in the town of Cohasset. They were looking for some new, branded lobby signage to advertise their collaborative leadership center, a job that was right up our alley.
The image provided showcases the finished product, perfectly mounted above their eye-catching electronic message center. The colorful and well-designed screen draws in attention, which quickly switches to the vibrant and artful lobby sign. The spotlights, plant life, and small marketing pieces make for simple and stylish additions to the area.
Our friends at Sugar Lake wanted a sign that truly fit with their business, and we took that message to heart. The Lodge is a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, featuring an abundance of activities for groups and individuals. We wanted this relaxing and casual feel to come through in the signage, and it did.
To craft their custom lobby sign, we started with an orange acrylic material. The orange you see in the photo is the actual color of the acrylic, where the other areas were painted with enamel to reach the desired pigments. To create the leaf, we used a print and die cut process, which made for crisp colors and clean, even lines between the different shades.
