Pattison, TX – Vinyl & Graphics for Church Monument Sign | Front Row Signs News

When a potential client inquires about fixing up an old sign, we are hopeful there is an option to re-face instead of having to replace. This can save the client money by offering new materials such as vinyl & graphics instead of replacing the entire sign. This is exactly what we did for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pattison, TX. Their monument sign was well over 20 years old and in bad shape. We were eager to get a look and see how we could help.

Sign Evaluation

Before we begin any job, we evaluate what the client wants to accomplish, their budget, and how we can offer the best material that is also cost effective. Upon our site survey, we observed that the sign was very rusted, the vinyl was faded, scratched and torn. Even though on the surface the sign seemed in poor shape, it had structural integrity. We offered an option to re-face with new graphics and metal composite material. Aluminum Composite Material, or ACM consists of two thin coil-coated aluminum sheets bonded to a polyethylene core. This flat panel sandwich allows the substrate to offer high structural rigidity with low weight. It is our go to substrate for outdoor and indoor signage for long term use.

Sign Vinyl & Laminate

Choosing the best vinyl & laminate for the job requires considering a couple of factors. How long does the client want the sign to last (short or long term)? Is the surface flat or have complex curves? Is the sign in an area where weather may affect it? (An example would be a sign in full sun most of the day) Since this was a double sided fairly large sign, we knew that at least 1 side would be in full sun. Our weather conditions are primarily hot, hot and even hotter so this is always a main factor in choosing a vinyl that can withstand the heat. We chose a high performance option, 3M 40C gloss vinyl with matching 3M 8508 gloss laminate. These options offer longevity over most choices.

Integrity Before Profit

We strive to be the sign company that is recommended for their honesty and integrity. One of our policies is, “Never Sacrifice Integrity and Quality for Profit”. Our entire team lives by this policy with each job. Don’t take our word for it. Read our reviews. If you value a company with integrity,  give us a call at 832-222-9385. We are ready to earn your trust.
