2017 was a big year for me. From Oregon coast elopements to camp weddings on the Sandy river to four day Indian wedding ceremonies in the Bay Area of California. I got to travel to a lot of places and photograph beautiful people and their beautiful weddings. Living in Portland as a wedding and engagement photographer is awesome because there are so many amazing places nearby where people can get married and where we can go on photo adventures. I also love to travel to other places and see new landscapes. I also love all the different people I get to meet. It's such a joy getting to experience these important and precious moments with my clients. I've been fortunate enough to keep in touch with quite a few of them over the 10 years I've been doing this full time. I've done maternity photos, newborn photos, family sessions, anniversary photo adventures and even one year of marriage celebration shoots. One of the craziest things about being a wedding photographer is being an intimate part of one of people's most important days in their lives, and then often never seeing them again. I really do love it when I get to see them again! It's like a family reunion. Haha!
