Lindsey and Adam's backyard elopement in Portland Oregon was nothing short of magical. As a wedding photographer, this really was a dream job. Walking into their house was like stepping into a romance novel. Their music and the way they interacted with each other... every little look.. and every little detail that had so thoughtfully been put together. It was like being on a film set, and it was one of those moments where I found myself asking; "is this real life?" These two said their vows under the cool breeze of the magnolia tree as the aura of their love and admiration for each other filled the air like a tangible vapor. As the night went on laughter and joy carried the couple into the twilight with specialty cocktails, card games, records, and some good old fashioned street frolicking! The pacific northwest meets southern vibes. There was even an unexpected impromptu first dance on the porch of the beautiful house that they've made a home together. It was truly, truly magic to behold. Also, I have to give a shout out to Lindsey for her incredible style and taste! Garden roses and ranunculus, a gold bridge board, Chanel shoes and Krispy kreme doughnuts to boot! All placed along the most perfect vintage elements and beautifully decorated backyard.
