Jesse & Lisa are two of the coolest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. From start to finish my experience with them was absolutely wonderful! When they asked me to travel to McCall Idaho for their destination I was thrilled. It was stylish, well planned and full of joy and laughter. As a wedding photographer traveling for weddings is one of the favorite parts of the job. It's always amazing to get to see new sights and places and to be inspired by new landscapes and scenery. I always scout a location before a wedding for portrait ideas. My team and I had a great time roaming around the resort and getting ideas for this one. We did portraits of the bride and groom on the river banks, in the woods, at the lodge, and even one on the old country road winding out to the river. I just love old country roads. They were married in a grassy meadow overlooking the river. Every detail of this wedding was thoughtful and meaningful, from the fishing fly guest favors to the branded late night grilled cheese and root beer floats. These two were so sweet together. I had the pleasure of witnessing these little nuances throughout the day that exemplified their love for each other… like how Lisa would lean her head on Jesse’s shoulder, and how Jesse sent Lisa flowers in the morning, or how he pulled her chair out for her at dinner. He even serenaded her at their ceremony. What girl doesn’t dream of that?! Ha-ha! I also feel the need to note that the mother-son dance was THE BEST I’VE EVER SEEN! Choreographed be-bopping! SO fun. All of the love was in the air on this day. I could go on and on but I will stop writing and let the photos speak for themselves.
