Do you wake up feeling excited about the day? Do you look forward to what is going to happen that will be great each day?
Or do you wake up anxious, nervous or depressed? Do you wake up worried about what is going to happen today? Unfortunately, a great many people fall into this second category.
What is the difference between the first type of person and the second? It has to do with what their internal beliefs are about themselves and also about the world. Do you see the universe as having your back or do you see yourself as having a target on your back?
If you do see yourself as in constant struggle or at war with the world, how do you change this so you can experience ease and peace? With clinical hypnotherapy. Together, we can discover what beliefs you have that keep you in emotional pain and, in hypnosis, you are able to transform them to beliefs that actually serve you and change how you experience the world.
Working together to discover those beliefs is important to transform them and achieve long term inner peace. There are things, though, that you can start right now to begin communicating to your subconscious mind that things need to change.
Before you get out of bed in the morning as you start waking up, you are in a state where you can influence your subconscious. I suggest to my clients is that at this time they do a couple of quick but very important things:
First, ask yourself "what are three things I am grateful for right now?" Even if it is I have a roof over my head or I will be able to eat today, that will move you in the right direction. According to Emily Fletcher, just asking the question “What am I grateful for?” changes your biochemistry and your mind positively.
Second, ask yourself a question that moves you in the direction you would like to move. When you ask yourself a question, any question, your mind always gives you an answer. So instead of asking “why me?”, ask yourself questions that empower you. Perhaps “what can I do to contribute today?” or “where can I see joy today?” or "how can I have a productive day?"

Asking the right questions is only one tool people can have in their toolbox. There are multiple things I teach my clients to help them achieve their goals in the shortest amount of time possible while I help them discover the inner beliefs in their subconscious that are creating difficulties in their lives and then transform them to beliefs that serve them positively in the world.
