Have you ever considered how much traveling you do? Concord, Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Lafayette, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, and Clayton areas cover a lot of territory. Ever think that you could use those miles to advertise your business? You can turn your car into a rolling billboard for pennies a day by having your vehicle wrapped.
Research gives us proof from the Traffic Audit Bureau for Media Measurement:
+ Over 90% of fellow drivers and passengers notice and read graphics on wrapped vehicles
+ 70+% of decision makers will decide based upon impressions they got from a wrapped vehicle.
+ Almost 1/3 of buyers will make the ultimate decision based upon the ideas they gained from wrapped vehicles. .
Vehicle wraps should be made of high quality 3M vinyl (or something equivalent). They are printed on wide format printers (about 62 inches wide – prints up to 60″), and can be printed from solvent or latex (water based) ink. We use latex on an HP Printer at Signature d’sSign. Side note: we can also print on a “green” vinyl which can be recycled when it is no longer needed.
Once the vinyl is printed, it is installed by a professional in our large, clean, bay area (or garage). We have a 14 foot garage door to accommodate tall vehicles, too. It is important to use not only the best materials, but also, to use installers who are certified. In the unlikely chance that the vinyl fails, the company who manufactured it will want to know that it was installed correctly, so that your warranty will be worth more than just the paper it was written on.
You can expect to spend in the neighborhood of $8 – $15 a square foot for a basic printed wrap (depending on the vehicle), and slightly more for the non PVC wrap which is environmentally friendly. Prices can vary, due to the surface of the vehicle, as we use different vinyl for vehicles with more curves, as opposed to big flat surfaces on trucks, etc. which are also more temporary. Perforated vinyl is also available for vehicle windows, but does come at a higher price. You can see out, but “they” can’t see in. These prices also include a limited design time.
You can also consider a partial wrap or even cut graphics for your door, back windows, etc. depending on your budget, vehicle, and the amount of information you want to share. We can make custom print & cut graphics of your logo, your tagline; even your photo! If you are applying cut graphics to a dark colored car, you do need to know that the sun will take it’s toll when you have them removed. You may have a faded spot on your car when the time comes to remove the graphics; unless of course, you live in a place where the sun never shines!
The quality of the vinyl also affects the ease of removing the graphics some day when you want to replace your vehicle and advertise on another. We use quality 3M products for that purpose. The graphics should be applied to a clean, non rusty, vehicle without blemishes or other issues. Removal of wraps and graphics is best left to the professional, so keep track of which material was used and then have it removed professionally.
We pride ourselves as being professionals in the area of vehicle graphics and wraps, and would like to invite you to come and visit our facility.
