When people come to visit us and take our short but entertaining tour, I warn them that if they stand still, they may get wrapped!
In our showroom, we have wrapped several objects as an example to show what can be done. Here are a few of them. And yes, we do recommend these things for our customers. As you read this, you may think of a man cave, or an employee lounge, a pub or restaurant, or maybe a kitchen remodel at home?
Our kitchen table was painted black gloss several times. . Even then, there was no way to keep it looking clean. It showed crumbs and spots. As a result, we covered it with a photo I took in my yard. It is a close up of a succulent ground cover. The vinyl wraps around the table top edges so that the whole surface is covered and there is no way to lift the edge with fingernails or water. This could have also been done with company logos, etc. This is also a great idea for an update in your favorite pub or sticky fingers restaurant.
The refrigerator was boring. It sits in a corner of the room and attracts no one except the people who are anxious for lunch. . . We pulled it out so that the door could be completely open. I got on the same level with the refrigerator and took two pictures. One was of the freezer with an open door, and one was of the open refrigerator door.. . . When I took the original picture, I included the whole refrigerator box, so that my photo would look as though the doors were open. . If you were to do this in your house or business, you might want to wrap your man cave refrigerator with a can of beer, bottle of scotch, or just use a color change to match a kitchen. Maybe you would like to give life to your lounge area at the office. How about a metallic color change?
Next, I went to Chalet Bakery in Concord, and took a picture of a beautiful cake. I had taken a picture at Tahoe a few years ago of a snowman, so I used his head in the freezer. Now he enjoys living in the freezer with a bag of ice from our grand opening and a few other things. Below, in the refrigerator, the sodas and a few items share the space with the picture of the cake. It really plays a trick on little kids who come by, and some of the adults are especially surprised. Let Adobe Photoshop be your best friend. . .
Out in the showroom and in Lee’s office, you will see some antique chairs which have a vinyl print of a violin or trumpet attached to the back. Before this addition, they looked plain and old. Now they have an unexpected lift.
We also replaced the face of our clock with a chart of complementary colors. . . Just for quick reference!
We plan to wrap our mailbox soon . . . . Don’t stand still!
