Recently, we received a call from a representative from Mosher & Ellis. The company is a financial institution that wanted to participate in an Expo at a physical fitness facility and wanted to look their best. The table size space they will be renting was 30 x 30”, or, a “card table” size. They called us to purchase a table throw for the event.
We design table throws, and then upload them to a 3rd party to be printed and sent back to us. In this case, we were unable to find anything that would fit a table of that size. The client was anxious to have the tablecloth, and so sad that we were unable to help, so we started looking at the cloth we had in-house – for printing. . . .
I was able to design the table cover with the logo front and center on the front panel, and, at the same time, leave the table top section and a back flap section. the total was 62 inches. . . the same as the width of our fabric. I also cut another piece off of the roll that was wide enough to make two side panels, which I sewed onto the three existing sides.
In the long run, the table cover was not inexpensive, but it was a success. I was even able to sew a pocket on the back to be used as a safe place to keep small items and provide weight to keep the other three sides balanced. I’m posting the pattern, and the finished view of front and back of the table cloth. Feel free to use it..
