I Like Glitter, How About You?
Have you ever considered using cut graphics on your vehicle that glitter or glow?
I want to show you a truck owned by our client, Giorvas Landscape and Construction. His business is located just south of here. He bought a cool new Ford F150 with beautiful brownish paint, and we added a medium heather green cut graphic with small glitter effects. It turned out very nice. We also used red cut graphics.
One problem we ran into on this job was the back slider window. There was no way that vinyl would stick! We considered adding chemicals to make the surface rough, but we didn’t want to destroy the glass. The slider fit so close, we didn’t want to take a chance on having the vinyl catch or get scratched when the slider opened, so we decided to to put the graphics around the slider and not on it. Sometimes technology makes products that are beautiful and efficient, except when it comes to product installation, so be sure to check before promising something you can’t deliver. . .
Last year we also did a print and cut project for Mitch. He has a few Ford Transit Connects, too. He is a very patriotic person, and had us install an American flag on the full side of his truck, along with his business name and information, and a political statement.
Check the vehicle you drive. You are using it for advertising whether you realize it or not. Are you making an advertising statement, or are you invisible to potential clients?
