Illuminated Lightbox Sign for HB Leisure @ Legoland Hotel – Carlsbad, CA
We recently got a call from HB Leisure, the world’s leading attraction partner for skill games & amusements across the globe. They were opening a new arcade in the Legoland Hotel and needed signage quickly. They were looking for two illuminated lightbox signs; one on the exterior part of the building and the other would be on the inside of the hotel. Knowing the professionalism and long history of both HB Leisure and the Legoland Hotel providing the best for their guests and clients, we wanted to make sure we delivered the same when creating their signage.

As always, part of our initial consultation includes discussion on budget, timeline, their vision, and location of the signs. Once we had all of this information we went to work. Having the measurements we needed for the sign space, our Design Team laid out proofs for our clients to approve. At the same time we were submitting permit approvals with the City of Carlsbad. Being familiar with the City’s requirements, we felt confident in moving on to the production side of this project since our client was on a tight timeline. For the exterior sign at the entrance of the arcade, we printed a vinyl print with UV laminate and then mounted it to 3mm thick aluminum. We then used six stand offs with round heads to the wall. Once the permits were approved, we sent our Installation Team to mounted it above the doors to the entrance.

Inside the hotel where guest entered the arcade, they wanted the other sign above the interior entrance We used an illuminated lightbox 55″w by 16″h. Our Production Team installed full color graphics printed on fabric onto the lightbox. We mounted it flush above the front door securely. Our Installers are all licensed and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to any electrical needs during the installation.
As you can see from the photos, both signs are colorful and send a message to all the hotel guests that fun awaits anyone who passes through the doors they light up. Because we have such a great team of employees, we were able to meet HB Leisure’s tight timeline while staying within their budget and produced exactly what they were looking for.
