Recently, we received a call for a building sign from Core Contracting. Core Contracting, is a general contracting firm located in Vista, CA. They got a hold of us in regard to installing a new business sign at one of their sites. The location was close by so we headed on over to see how we could help.
When we arrived at the site, we conducted a site survey where we also took photos and measurements. Their logo was black and red, very striking. Next, we scaled their logo in vector format into a high resolution .pdf.

Our design team got right to work creating a design for the sign that also incorporated the company’s existing logo. The proof shows how the finished design will look when the sign is up. The design team sent the proof over to Core Contracting, which also showed the scale of the sign in relationship to their building. They approved the design immediately.

After that, our estimating department put together the price, which our client approved. They sent over the 50% deposit and we started on permit documents, which is the lengthiest part of this process. We had to receive permission from both the landlord and the city of Vista. The whole process can take up almost a month. Once the permits were approved, we were able to get to work building their sign. The sign measured at 30” high by 134” wide and included a customized font. It was flush/stud mounted to the building.
