Our process for sign creation started with a site visit, where we took photos and measurements of the space to ensure we understood the proper scaling of the logo. We recreated the logo with our design services, making a vector graphic ideal for sign creation. Finally, we scaled the logo for placement high on the exterior of the building. We had our client approve the proof, then had their landlord approve it as well, before we completed the city permitting for our client. Because the previous tenant had moved out, we cleaned up the area, removing old signage, patching and painting, and installing the new logo only when it was clear to do so. Everything was done on time and our client was thrilled with the result.

Custom building signage can truly make a commercial property feel like it is a comfortable, friendly home base. Exterior signs contribute a lot to a customer’s first impression, something we understand fully at North Coast Signs. Our client in Carlsbad, CA, had purchased a new property. They were based in CO and got a referral to us from commercial property manager H.G. Fenton, to set up their new signage.
To make the exterior business sign pop, we selected 1/2” acrylic letters, painted in black and Pantone color 165 orange, to match the company’s logo. The stud mounted sign showcases the company while fitting the aesthetic of the exterior and making an eye-catching first impression.
