As we were providing signage for the West Village property, we were pleased to speak to West Steak and Seafood, who were looking for someone to help them with their outdoor signage needs. We were more than happy to assist and spoke with the company to see just what they were looking for. They wanted an attractive illuminated sign that would complement the walkway to their front entrance.
As you can see from the photograph, the illuminated post and panel sign is brilliant and sets the tone for the restaurant before visitors even set foot in the door. Using a small area, the Illuminated Post and Panel sign we went with advertises their location to customers flawlessly. The light on the sign compliments the existing building’s façade and lighting.

West Steak and Seafood is a local and locally-owned California restaurant, right in Carlsbad, CA. They offer upscale dining in their lounge or dining room alongside an extensive wine menu. Pop in for happy hour and you may find yourself staying for dinner and dessert. Gluten-free options are also available.
We went with a Custom Exterior Illuminated Post and Panel sign to achieve the look of a monument sign for a fraction of a cost. Mindful of space for the sign, we created the Illuminated Post and Panel sign with dimensions of 17”H x 50”W X 6” D, including both frames and posts. The frame was created with a single-sided routed, .125 aluminum panel with a ½” push through acrylic logo, using the restaurant’s existing design. The West Steak and Seafood logo is halo-lit with internal LED illumination (UL listed). The sign is painted a standard silver color so that it does not compete with the lights from the logo. This type of sign, the Exterior Illuminated Post and Panel, achieved the effect of a monument sign while staying well within the client’s budget.
