We heard recently from a commercial property business in Carlsbad, CA. They were renting out offices in an office building and were looking to attract new customers. Their idea was to give the building a face lift to make the location more attractive to prospective clients. They asked us to spruce up their existing monument sign with some exciting new custom numbers. We were delighted to be offered the job.
The accompanying photo shows the result. The address number required was 3150, and we created this from four individual 10” tall metal numbers. The dark anodized finish of the numbers, combined with the dimensional aspect, gives a stunning 3D effect that turns heads.
The client was a joy to work for, and was delighted with the delivered product. From this first order followed many others for the client's other commercial properties. Our professionalism and expertise secured us a valuable repeat customer.
One of the most cost-effective ways of producing dimensional letters and numbers is through the use of injection molded plastic. This allows the molds to be reused again and again, and the process is less fiddly than channel bending. We chose a font style for the numbers that was compatible with the client’s brand. Creating the numbers with a Duranodic Bronze finish ensured protection from the elements. It also provided a dark, attractive finish. All numbers came with a mounting template to allow quick and easy fixing to the monument sign.
Dimensional letter signs add a touch of class to any office building. Passersby will associate the professionalism of the sign to the standards of the business displaying it. A clearly defined address or business name makes a statement, and stamps its mark on a business territory. With a tough, anodized finish these signs are easy to clean and will look good for many years. Dimensional lettering can be produced in many standard fonts.
