Homewatch Caregivers is a care provider the specializes in care for the elderly, as well as care for individuals with chronic conditions like dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, ALS and other debilitating diseases that are common among seniors. They are a great company that does a great service for our elderly, helping them at one of the more difficult times in their lifes. Their compassion for people carries on through their working relationship with local providers like us, who help them with things like their signage and branding.
Recently, we were contacted by Homewatch Caregivers because they needed new window graphics and office wall branding. They moved their office to a new space and needed to make it look professional. So, they brought us in to install the graphics and signage seen in the pictures in this article. Please take a quick second to look through all the images to get an idea of the entire project.
When dealing with a new building’s newly painted offices, one of the things we must look out for is the type of paint. More recently developed lo-voc paints don’t work well with many of the types of vinyl material that we use for wall graphics, unless the paint has been cured for 90 or more days. Obviously, with new buildings and newly painted offices, this can become an issue for a successful installation.
So, what we do is run a test on the wall to see if the vinyl will adhere properly. Once tested, we can then determine the proper vinyl to be used on the particular surface.
The next step is to create a proof, which we can use to scale the logos onto the wall and window, which we can then show the customer. By creating this proof, or mockup, we can give our customers an idea of what their signs and graphics will look like before they are installed. Naturally, this is crucial in helping our customers make the best possible decision about which signage products they like, before committing to the entire project financially.
Vinyl is a great material to use for wall graphics and window graphic installations. It’s a low-cost material that can be installed without damaging the surface it is installed on. Being able to remove the graphics, without damaging the wall or surface where the graphics are installed is important, because some businesses like to change their graphics often. Some change them out annually, seasonally and in some cases, even monthly.
